Svelte Medical Systems has licensed key intellectual property (IP) from Cordis Corporation; this gives the company both exclusive and non-exclusive licenses to 21 issued and 18 pending patents with several more internal patents pending in the area of stents and delivery systems. The agreement gives Svelte Medical Systems exclusive rights to some intellectual property related to “Stent-on-a-Wire” delivery systems as well as non-exclusive rights to several stent designs for use on the “Stent-on-a-Wire” delivery system.
